I live 5 minutes from Lake Nosbonsing. I used to live in Burlington and we fished the Hamilton Pier, Bronte Creek, Grand River, Credit River for Salmon and Steelhead.. I fish Lake Nipissing a lot in the winter but in the summer mostly Lake Nosbonsing for Walleye, Pike, Muskie. In the fall I will be hunting for BlackBear, Deer, Grouse when I'm not splitting fire wood for the winter. I would like to hunt Moose one day but would need to able to take time off. Hopefully this year I fill tags quick and can get back out Nosbonsing for some Musky Hunting. In the winter time I can get out on Nosbonsing before the New year with a cold november/december, but can't fish Nipissing until the 1st due to special regulations. Lots of Perch and Walleye throughout December and then you have to work a little harder in february for a fish fry. . Walleye season open on Sat May 21 this year and then I'll be out catching fish on Nosbonsing.
Hey Big Fish - thanks for the welcome! I live in Mississauga and work in Toronto. Got into fishing about 3-4 years ago and can't get enough. The fiance's family has a place where Moon River and Woods Bay meet, so I fish there at least 5-6 weekends during the summer. We also go try Dunville in April, go to Rice Lake once or twice a year and try for Salmon in the Credit River in September. What about yourself?
