Slayer the Family Day Weekend is February 19-21, so If you and Jen Wanna come down that weekend Let Me KNow, I will also Post soem Local Motels and Hotes.

This year Looks good some far the Lake is already froze over so there shoul dbe lots of ice for the Feb 14th Opener. Last year they where driving Full size 1 tons out there 2 weeks b4 opener and there was a Plowed road.
I will be putting the final touches on my Ice huts soon, and hauling them out there on openign weekend (hopfully) Now remember I fish in 80 to 110 Feet of water so spool your rods up with some Good 8-12 Lbs test and you will be fine.

Thanks Conger.... Yeah we want to go . I am just figuring out how to heat the house while I'm gone. I may have to turn on the electric heat for the weekend. If you are able to make it up here again I found a new spot today. My friend Nathan is here and we decided to try a new spot so we started at sunset point off of lakeshore drive and drove west towards the Manitou islands(google map it, it is way out there) and drove about 5 km and stopped at a place called the perch beds. We caught some big ones. Tomorrow will be even better.
