Skunked!

A couple of friends took me out fishing on Golden Lake on Family Day. No hut. Was it ever cold!
Two of us were skunked and one lad caught 2 perch. At least I got outside for an afternoon with some good guys!

Don't feel bad the fishing is slow for me too. I kept 1 perch in 4 hours of fishing yesterday. Last sunday my uncle rented a hut for 6 of us out of deepwater point on Lake Nipissing and it was comfy and warm but we only managed 16 perch and 1 walleye between us all. Plus an ugly mudpuppy I caught!!! I'm saving the good fishing for this sunday as I am going lake trout ice fishing for the first time on Lake Joseph! I'm bringing a big airplane jig, white tube jigs, and cleos. We will see what happens.
