St. Croix Fishing Rod
I picked up a brand new St. Croix Rod from North Bay Outfitters this week. An 8'6" Triumph
TRS86MHF2 Med-Heavy Power, Fast Action, SC2 Graphite, 8-17lb test line, and most importantly can cast 3/8-1oz lure! It is black with an orange logo above the grip. The cork grips look very good and on this model is nice and long for the type of long distance spoon casting I do. It fit my quantum reel nicely too. This rod replaces my broken quantum Salmon/Steelhead rod, which was a good all purpose rod. I will update this as I test my St. Croix Rod this week. It cost $120 before tax.

Professional Hunter ~ ok fisherman
fished for an hour today with my new St. Croix rod, and caught nothing. However a good cold front was blowing over so that may have shut the fishing off. My uncle said the fishing was great this morning as he and my aunt were fishing a pike derby and they caught 19 pike and brought in 7 to be measured. I'll report how they did. My aunt caught a 4 and half pound pickeral that had to be released because they were in the tourny! :-(

From long ago I was looking to buy St. Croix Fishing Rod, but before purchasing it thought to go through all the pros and cons of it. I have gone through all the features of the rod, but doesn’t exactly know how does it will be helpful while fishing. Big fish I am eagerly waiting to hear updates from you, please make small efforts of sharing your opinion after fishing with the St. Croix Fishing Rod. I am Renot concern with spending $120 for it, if it caters my needs.
