sorry I am a bit late with a reply as I am having computer problems... So I have not been to the Bonfield side of Nosbonsing this year. As much as I'd like to I havn't needed to as I am catching walleye everyday. Also landed a 40" muskie just off the submerged rock on the west side of Perron Island. Working on uploading the video and pictures I took right now. For what is working green and orange macho minnow untipped or tipped.... I caught 2 walleye on wednesday on that macho minnow with no bait. Also a berkely realistix shad jig is catching a ton of walleyes and other fish too. A tip up caught a nice walleye for Michelle yesterday and my muskie was caught on a tip up too although with much larger bait... I was using a 12" long Cisco trying for Pike. We have been catching fish in approximately 8-10 feet of water and I've been focusing on areas within a half mile of spawning sites and also areas where baitfish congregate.

well, we didnt get as much time on the ice as we hoped but we got a couple pickeral for lunch and those damn mud puppys! jeeze those things are crazy looking. the hut 300' away brought in some small perch 1 8lb pike and one 4 lb pike and a few small picks. all in all a great weekend tho. we were in 21 to 31 feet of water moving up and down the ledge. started with chubs then went to shiners. shiners got more action but they sure aren't as hardy as the chubs.
