    Rabbit Lake Tamagami

I was up to Rabbit lake in the Tamagami area on Saturday. We had a great day minus the wind being very cold coming down the lake. We used small shinner minnows and in just a few hours caught 5 lakers one being 4.5 pounds and one white fish and two walleyes below slot size. Great day in our world. totally would send people there. We fished in about 20' of water.

    Good luck to you all.

Well there are some places in this beautiful country we don't like to share with many people, but everyone should experience good fishing. . . If you have never caught a laker, then maybe I should share. If you go to Rabbit lakes south boat launch ( some back road can't remember the name ) you will need 4 wheel drive or just be very careful. The parking lot is approx ten min walk to launch. Follow the main trail on the lake and keep to the left. Once you get to the first bay on your right side you will see brown huts to your left and blue ones on the point in front of you. Keep half way between the trail and the bay approx 25- 40' of water. We used 2 inch shinners very hard to find this year. If you have a sled, I also recommend going to the far end to the north point but stay in approx 60' of water there.

    Good luck

I've been to Rabbit Lake many times. We've never had the luck your talking about. Good luck though. I wouldn't waste my time with this lake.

Just got home from another good weekend on Rabbit lake, we had some good luck once again. We caught 4 nice 2.5 - 3 lb lakers and 2 nice eater size walleyes. I am not sure where you guys are fishing on the lake but we went to the same spot as last time. The only complaint I have is the amount of slush we got stuck in on the lake. What are you guys using for bait? If I could find a useable map I would show you where we are fishing.
