Caught a big Muskie last tuesday on Lake Nosbonsing. Here is the video and some pictures. The Muskie was revived and swam away healthy. Measured at 40" and I say it was 20 pounds but I think I underestimated the weight and didn't have a scale. Anyone know what a 40" muskie should approximately weigh?
It put up a very good fight. I'd get it close to the hole and then it would turn around and just rip tip up line through my hands on many runs before somewhat tiring. Later that night I noticed the last hook that held was almost bent all the way out. I'm glad I landed this one!
Thats a great fish, we found that rock and I wish we had gotten the chance at a fish like that! Did U fish near that island on sunday? I thought I may have seen you? We did get a pile of perch, a couple eyes one very nice one. Thanks for your help.
Thanks Killby, Yes I did see your green tent from about a mile away. I was fishing in the narrows going into Astorville Bay and could see you set up. I caught 3 eyes that day all around 14". What did you catch your big walleye on? Your welcome for the help.
